The recent illegal withdrawal of Rs.25 million from NICVD account for different purposes by Mr. Fasial Abdul Sattar Chief Financial Officer (CFO) was carried out successfully but when the matter disclosed, he deposited back Rs.56 lacs in NICVD account. He was involved in financial Corruption and that is why he resigned. But it is surprising that same person has been appointed at Sindh Institute of Cardio- Vascular Diseases (SICVD)  as CFO .

According to the financial rules the Head of the institution, ED Professor Tahir Saghir is the Principal Account Officer who is one of the signatory along with CFO in all withdrawals from NICVD account .

As per govt policy if an employee found guilty can’t be appointed again in the govt sector.

When The Credible Post representative contacted  ED Prof. Tahir Saghir to know about this illegal withdrawal by CFO then he responded that the CFO deposited back Rs 56 lacs in the NICVD account. When enquired more that how these withdrawals from bank were possible without his signature as he is a co- signatory, ED Professor Saghir did not respond to this question.

It is also noted that ED Prof.Tahir Saghir’s 04 billion corruption case is still in progress at NAB.
