ILM Foundation hosted a grand fundraising dinner at city Banquet,Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi, attended by esteemed Organizations and business personalities .The event highlighted the foundation’s remarkable efforts over the past 15 years in promoting Quranic based curricula & education and fostering moral development in society.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Arif Irfanullah emphasized that the rise and fall of Muslim nation are tied to their connection with the Holy Quran. He expressed his belief that introducing Arabic language education on a national scale could spark a revolution in Pakistan. He further stated that ILM Foundation’s religious and Quranic based education initiatives have been widely recognized across Pakistan, benefiting even the three Armed Forces. According to him, the root cause of social evils and challenges today is the lack of Quranic principles and teachings. He urged parents to instill truthfulness in their children while also providing them with quality education and character-building training.
Shabbir Machiara, a trustee of the foundation, highlighted the transformative power of the Quran. He stated that dedicating six hours a day to Quranic study could bring about profound personal change.
At the beginning of the event, ILM Foundation’s CEO, Shahzeb Ejaz, shared insights into the foundation’s educational initiatives. He highlighted that ILM Foundation’s unique approach to providing Quranic education across Pakistan is unparalleled. Over 1.5 million children have benefited from their schools, and their research on Quranic principles has been integrated into school curricula, including those of the Armed Forces’ educational institutions.
Another trustee, Shuja-Ud-Deen Aziz, underscored the foundation’s impact, stating that its efforts are bearing fruit across the nation. He pointed to the unwavering resilience of the people of Gaza as an example of the Quran’s miraculous power in strengthening faith and determination.
Syed Abdul Jabbar Takhari, the Acting Consul General of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, also graced the occasion. He commended the ILM Foundation’s dedication to expanding Quranic curricula, educational reforms and acknowledged their significant contributions for the Muslim Ummah.
