RAWALPINDI – The Pakistan Army’s Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), chaired byThe conference commenced with participants offering Fateha and paying tribute to the martyrs of the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies, and citizens who have sacrificed their lives in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while striving for peace and stability in Pakistan.
During the session, the Corps Commanders were briefed on the prevailing geo-strategic
environment, national security challenges, and the Army’s strategic and operational responses to emerging threats.
Addressing Internal and External Threats
The forum assessed the threats posed by inimical forces, subversive proxies, and facilitators of Pakistan’s external and internal adversaries, particularly those active in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The participants deliberated on a range of measures to neutralize these threats and reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army, with the unwavering support of the nation, will not allow the hard-earned successes against terrorism to be reversed.
Commitment to Professionalism and Accountability
The Corps Commanders emphasized that the Army remains a disciplined institution that
upholds the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and loyalty to the state. The
Army’s strict accountability framework ensures that these values are maintained with
unwavering commitment, leaving no room for exceptions or partiality.
General Syed Asim Munir reiterated the importance of a robust legal system and stated that the Pakistan Army would continue to provide comprehensive support to the government,
administrative apparatus, and Law Enforcement Agencies in taking swift and lawful actions
against terrorists, anarchists, and criminal mafias.
Focus on Cybersecurity and Counterterrorism
The forum expressed satisfaction with ongoing efforts to combat illegal spectrums operating in collusion with terrorist networks. In a push for greater cybersecurity, the Corps
Commanders underscored the urgency of securing national cyberspace from internal and
external threats.
Solidarity with Kashmir and Palestine
In a show of solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, the
Corps Commanders honoured the martyrs of the Freedom Movement and condemned the
gross human rights violations perpetrated by Indian forces. The forum also strongly condemned the ongoing violence and genocide against Palestinians by Israel.
Operational Readiness and Future Commitment
The Corps Commanders concluded the conference by expressing confidence in the Pakistan Army’s operational preparedness and readiness. They vowed to continue upholding the highest standards of professional excellence in the defence of Pakistan.
