We will never forget the role of Minorities soldiers in 1965 War; Air Marshal (Retd) Abid Rao.
Karachi 07 Sept: Federal Minister Maritime Affairs, Qaiser Sheikh has said that On 6 th September, 1965 our Courageous soldiers pushed back the enemy and became a leaden wall to secure our border, when he was addressing as the Chief Guest on Friday at FPCCI head office, Karachi.
He assures about the revival of our vibrant economy once again and said that Pakistan soon Pakistan will overcome on Energy Crisis that we have fourth largest Natural gas reserves.
Air Marshal (Retd) Abid Rao said that we fought this war on Kashmir issue but the issue has even still remained unresolved between the two countries at that time United States is trying to eradicate communism and assured us to resolve this dispute which becomes the bone of convection between the two countries. He praised the efforts of armed forces officers from minorities who badly hit the enemy during the war. He said that we recognised our National heroes after fighting this war. Our foot prints strengthen in not only in Middle East but in north Africa also provided us the opportunity to train their soldiers and sell our Military hardware to them.
Chairman Arif Habib Group, Arif Habib discussed the IPPs issue and said that we have 44,000 Megawatts but we cannot transmit more than 22,000 Megawatts resulting power crisis. He said that our Hostile attitude not attracting foreign funding that increasing our debt burden, Peoples are now helpless.
General Retd. Moen ud Din Haider said that 1965 war is the high point for Pakistan which recognised us globally. He laminated the light on the spiritual War songs of our singers and specially (late) Noor Jehan who warned our blood during the War time.
Former CEO, Oxford University Press said that India is still attacking on us by Negative Propaganda and spreading fake news on Social Media that we are going to Bankrupt. We are on the globe from the last seventy-seven years.
Brigadier Abdul Ghafar Satar Commander (Sector Commander) Bhittai Rangers also spoke on this occasion reminding the courage of Martyrs and Ghazis and thanks FPCCI for organising this event zeal and zest with true patriotic sprit. He confidently expressed that Pakistan’s business community will always play their role collectively for the development, integrity, and stability of the country.
Amman Paracha, Vice President FPCCI addressed the Vote of Thanks and said that Defence Day was a renewal of the pledge that we will not let the sacrifices of our great Martyrs go in vain.
