KARACHI (Credible Post Report)
The Youth Lifesaver Training Program 2.0, Junior First Responder Academy, has successfully completed a significant milestone with the graduation of its first batch of trainees after an intensive five day training course.
During the program, participants received comprehensive instruction in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic Life Support (BLS), Wound and Trauma Management, Fire Safety, Psychological First Aid, and Emergency Response Training.
Organizers stated that the students have progressed beyond the role of learners and are now recognized as Junior First Responders, equipped with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to respond effectively during emergencies and potentially save lives within their families, schools, and communities.
The success of the initiative was attributed to the dedicated efforts of faculty members, trainers, and partner institutions, including Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, and Rescue 1122 Sindh.
Addressing the participants, organizers congratulated the first batch and expressed hope that they would serve as ambassadors of emergency preparedness, public safety, and community service in the future.
